The following courses are being offered:

Networking 101: $195.00 US

This one-day (8 hour) interactive course will provide alarm integration technicians in-depth training on the basics of networking. It includes IP addressing, firewall issues, cabling options, and connection of networked security devices onto "live" LANs and the Internet. The intent is to involve students in live exercises, which will instill networking knowledge in those who attend. Product applications, video compression codecs, and troubleshooting are also presented. Students take a written test upon completion of the course.

Networking 201 : $295.00 US

This is a one-day (8 hour) "hands on" networking training class where students will use laptop computers to learn how to connect and troubleshoot IP devices onto local area networks.  This training class is a necessary precursor for those technicians planning to take the standardized PSNS (Physical Security Networking Specialist) certification test. A practice written test for the PSNS certification is administered at the end of this course presentation.
